Evaluations

Evaluations allow me to assess and understand a child's unique skills, preferences, and challenges. Each evaluation is a thoughtful combination of caregiver interviews, standardized assessment, clinical observation, and therapist-child interaction. Following the evaluation, the results are shared with the family, and therapy goals are developed to have maximum positive impact.

Evaluation services are available as a stand-alone for families needing independent evaluations both for private use or by the Department of Education.

Speech Therapy

Using a combination of evidence-based approaches, combined with the latest research in intervention, each session is designed to motivate your child to acquire and practice new skills. By fostering a personalized and nurturing environment, I ensure each child has a safe space to explore new speech sounds, take risks, and celebrate their successes. When appropriate, I will provide home practice recommendations and strategies to help with the carry-over of skills. Children experiencing challenges in the following areas may benefit from speech therapy:

  • Articulation delays (having a difficult time pronouncing specific speech sounds)

  • Phonological delays (speech sound error patterns that affect more than one sound)

  • Speech sound disorders
